Admissions

King David School is a one-form entry school, accepting 30 children into our Reception Class each September. Parents must apply via Birmingham Local Authority's Admissions Office. Families resident in Birmingham should receive details from the Local Authority by post, before their child's fourth birthday. Applications are most easily done online at: http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/online-admissions.

Families resident outside Birmingham should complete their own Local Authority's preferences form, including King David School on that form and returning it to their own Local Authority.

You will also need to complete our own Additional Information Sheet. Contact the School Office for this. Contact details and a contact form can be found here.

King David School also has a 39-place Nursery. For this, you must apply directly to the school. The Nursery is for children who will be four during that academic year. Children can attend for three days a week, 8:50am to 3:15pm, free of charge. Parents can pay a fee to top this up to full-time provision. The deadline for applications to Nursery each year is in April, for admission in September.

While a place at our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception class, priority is given within the school's Admissions Policy to children who attend our Nursery.

Our Admissions Policy is available here.
