School Fund has been combined with the charity arm of the school - KDRES (King David Religious Education Support). This charity provides funding for resources and teachers, additional to the Local Authority complement, who enrich the educational experience at Birmingham's unique King David School.

The funds are used to provide additional and highly targeted support and extra educational provision within school. It also supports the following:

  • Annual concerts

  • Special assemblies & events for all festivals, taking place almost every month

  • Kitchen offering meat, fish and vegetarian kosher meals

  • Outstanding quality teaching and leadership for our Limudei Kodesh group

The ethos of the school is brought to all children, regardless of religious level of observance, which builds a community atmosphere, and makes King David Primary School truly a neighbourhood style school in the heart of a multicultural city.

We ask all parents and supportive benefactors, to make voluntary contributions to the KDRES. You are able to make a one-off donation or set up a monthly regular payment. This site will also handle Gift Aid, adding extra value to your donation. The School needs your support - please contribute as much as you can. We ask families for at least £5 per week, but EVERY pound counts. Funds raised here enable much larger MATCHED funding through our Charitable appeals. Please share in the success of our appeal to support the richness of your Child's education with a monthly donation.

We would like to thank you in advance for supporting the King David School and maintaining its very special and unique ethos.
