King David School Parent Teacher Association

King David School has a very active PTA. In the past it has organised quiz nights, fashion evenings, discos, coffee mornings, souvenir tea-towels, calendars, art exhibitions and summer fairs. Last summer's fair was hugely successful, raising over £1,000! In December, we held a quiz night, which was a terrific amount of fun!

The PTA raises money for the school, as well as providing opportunities for parents to meet. It has contributed towards a data projector, which is regularly used in the hall for presentations, and a climbing frame for the Foundation Stage. The PTA has recently bought wet-playtime games for all classes, and a PA sound system for assemblies and school concerts. The PTA has also supported the Outdoor Education Project, with all hands to work for the Big Dig, as well as purchasing the chalet.

The PTA has most recently raised money for a "Year of Culture" - we intend to send all children to the theatre or a similar cultural event!

Our future fundraising will be in order to replace the hall curtains. We are also looking forward to celebrating 50 years of the King David School at its present site in Moseley!
