Aluminium Penny Boat Challenge!

Investigating Materials

This week in Science, children have been investigating different types of materials. Children were testing for waterproof materials. Can you remember what waterproof means? Children worked in groups to test foil, paper, fabric, paper towels and plastic bags. Children discussed the uses of different materials. Why would you not make an umbrella out of paper?
