Homework and Spellings

Spellings for all groups in Year 2:

treasure
measure
pleasure
enclosure
closure
leisure
exposure
pressure
composure
fissure

Parents / carers - please look up the meanings of these words with your children using a dictionary.
Use the 'Treasure' picture to write a 100 words fiction piece about 'Treasure' using as many of the spellings as you can.

Be creative - for e.g. present it on a Treasure map, from a genie in bottle or your own imaginative ideas but mostly have some fun playing with words and ideas.
