Weekly Highlights and Homework 23.10.20

One half term down already! In line with Black History Month and our topic 'Unlikely Heroes', we have been learning about John Jellicoe Blair. He was one of the few Black pilots that served in WW2. I must say, the children were extremely engaged in the lessons and asked some excellent questions. In Maths, we are continuing with our addition and subtraction. We have been using place value charts and cubes to represent the exchanges taking place. The children's reasoning skills are developing too. More children are now using the correct language when explaining the Maths. On Wednesday, we had a chance to explore the google chrome books which was very fun indeed! In Topic, we focused on internet safety and children produced fact files informing us how to keep safe on line.

Have a great weekend and half term, you deserve a break!

Please note, all homework below is to be completed in homework books. You do not need to print anything in order for you to complete any task. Your child has been told which group they are in for homework. It is written in their homework book in case they can not remember.
