The Wailing Wall

Following on from the 3 weeks, the children in year 6 produced this lovely work. They have written a prayer of their own. We have been learning about the last existing wall in Jerusalem called the Wailing wall (Kotel), where Jewish people go and pray and leave messages to Hashem in between the cracks. Can you imagine how many messages must be there. The messages are taken twice a year and buried. I have added two videos for you to watch about the messages in the Kotel. I also thought we could create our own Kotel in school when we return to school in September and you can put your own messages and prayers into it.

I know how much you like our songs, so there is one at the end to finish off with.
